ABOUT THE TEMPLE
The foundation stone of Vashi Shree Venkatachalapathy Temple was laid at the august hands of H.H. Shrimad Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji, Mathadhipati of Shri Kash Math Samsthan on 6th February, 1991.
The 25th Prathista Vardanthi Mahotsav of Shree Laxmi Venkataramana Temple (Balaji Mandir) was celebrated at the august hands of H.H. Shrimad Samyamindra Tirtha Swamiji, Mathadhipati of Shri Kash Math Samsthan, from the 15th June, Saturday 2019, to 17th June, Monday 2019, along with the 22nd Vardanthi Mahotsav of Parivara Devathas and 18th Vardanthi Mahotsav of Navagraha Devathas,. The Prathista Vardanthi of Naag Devatha was held on the 20th Jun 2019.
History
Among the numerous temples of Navi Mumbai, Shree Laxmi Venkataramana Temple, (Balaji Mandir) occupies a place of pride. The temple stands majestically in the heart of Vashi and attracts devotees from a wide spectrum of society. The beautiful idol of Lord Venkataramana and his two consorts, Shreedevi and Bhoodevi, is a donation from “Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, Tirupati”.
Deities (Parivaar Devataas)
Poojas are also performed to Parivaar Devataas – Shree Mukhya Prana, Shree Hanuman, Shree Ganapati, Goddess Laxmi and Shree Garuda which are installed at the four corners of the temple as well as that of Lord Subrahmanya, Naag Devatha and Navagraha on the ground floor of temple premises.
